I would not call this brutal. Cannibal Corpse is way beyond brutal. It nothing more, nor less, than gross! People writing lyrics like theese could nor possibly be in their right mind. Which is, by the way, a nice way to start a conversation: "Hi! I write songs with lyrics about various infant fetuses killing their mothers from the inside, only to rape her afterwards. Don't you think that sounds fun?"

No, I am simply disgusted by this. Especially by the twisted, simple-minded men that wrote it!

I would never even come close to doing the things mentioned in the song. And I know lots of CC fans-- both men and women--who are intelligent, mild-mannered people who simply love brutal, loud music. Listen to the lyrics: they are almost unintelligible (even while reading while listening).

@Skeletonhands12 i wouldn't say they were influencial over death metal itself, id say they were the ones that took it to the extremes. They were the first Brutal Death Metal band in my opinion. They influenced bands to become brutal death metal bands and goregrind bands. So in a sense they did what Metallica/Megadeth did, they took Heavy Metal and turned into Thrash. They pushed it forward.
