The chopper was a plastic model, the propeller was an animated photograph, the cloud is made in Terragen. I replaced the sky 3 frames before the trees disappear. After that I could animate to model freely and add some camera shake. The model itself was "puppetteered" in front of a bluescreen. All was composited in Shake 4. It has been discontinued, so After Effects is the best choice now.

Studio?! Green screen? Blue screen? o.O Gun, dogfighter and heli were animated in garage. Blue screen was replaced with blue piece of carton, voices were recorded at simple dictaphone, using MaxCom PMR radio.

Wombat (the author, guy, who made 95% of this advert) recorded this clip in abbandoned rocket base of Polish Army in Czołowo, Poland.

No studio, no producer, no money. 45 years of soviet occupation learnt us how to carry out these problems.;p

he used either a green screen or blue screen. you can see the lighting on the gun doesn't match the lighting of the scenery and he doesn't catch the bottle of BBs at the end - the camera cuts. also, his voice had an echo, which suggests it was recorded in a studio,

what's challenging is to make your video look professional and do the compositing well

it's very obvious that you put your camera on auto aperture when areas go from extremely overexposed to proper exposure very fast and it looks bad.

also i think a lot of the explosions don't have shadows which looks unreal

try touching that up a bit. it's good, but far from perfect

The auto aperure was deliberate. I guess I wanted the video to look more amateur to make the compositing blend in more seamlessly. Now the idea seems just silly :P

Broń jest nakręcona na bluescreenie. Wymaga nieco dopracowania, ale już mi się na końcu totalnie odechciało ;) Helikopter to model, również nakręcony przed niebieskim ekranem, z animowaną fotografią śmigła (reszte załatwił motion blur). Chmurka jest cyfrowa. Całość od początku do końca powstała w Shake 4.
