Do people really argue that the 90 million tons of pollutants we send into the atmosphere has zero affect on the environment?

This has become a favourite argument of believers. Even though 90 million tonnes sounds like a lot to us, how big is it in the grand scale of the atmospheric system? What we pump out is minute compared to the amounts of CO2 historically present. There is still no evidence to suggest that it does have an effect, and indeed one can point to the stomach ulcer debate as an example. Do people really argue that stress or smoking cannot cause stomach ulcers? Whoops, turns out bacteria is the cause.
