Not only did I graduate from high school, but I graduated with a degree in physics ;I find myself in Joe's situation jobwise.Time to update this video to discussed the thousands of thousands of college graduates who find themselves in low skill jobs like myself
My school hates me so much. All i did was miss a few first periods and they are getting my parents involved and might expel me ==
and fuck i know ppl who barely even cme to school and they arent getting shit. fuck they hate me so much i wanna drop out but i dont wanna make me parents sad and shit
I am a 17 year old drop out. None of my teachers cared about my well being, they never once personally pulled me aside and reached out asking me whats going on.
I'm dropping out of high school to work and get a GED so I can go to community college a year earlier. I'll be 17 when I start and will graduate with an AAS in dental hygiene after 3 years.. everyone asks why I'm dropping out, thinking I don't have any plans for my life, but that's only because few people realize that I'm actually doing it for education's sake. My high school is a joke.
Teachers are greedy assholes they go on strike because their $40,00 a year job is not enough money they complain and say they cant afford to live on that. bull shit i know a mother of 4 that makes $17,000 a year and takes good care of her kids they even have a fucking ps3 and she is able to save nearly $1,000 a year to put up fore them.
@doulasc I agree with you Doulasc. I went through the same non-sense and stayed back twice in my 12 grade year. Sick and tired of teachers saying that students with LDs are,"lazy," and can't learn. Most of my knowledge came from books in the library and the internet during my time in high-school. F teachers!
I agree, the teachers and principal are just selfish pricks. All they say is more home study, but they are of no help. Since the school board can't fire the teachers for having a failing class, I'll fired them for letting me down. I'll find someone else who can do the job better, someone who cares.
this video is outdated. They're actually leanient on these "dropouts" with understanding and sympathy. If the teachers unions get their way soon they'll enstate darwin ethics. Schools being the place to eliminate the weak, the risks, the burdens and declare certain individuals to be a waste of resources. And I do mean exile and death.
Do schools kill creativity? If creativity was a person schools would be it's concentration camp! I think that young people are going through a creativity holocaust perpetrated by teachers especially ones who hate their jobs. Everyone who agrees this is a disgusting inconvenient truth give me a thumbs up. BTW I'm only twenty years old and I understand this.
I'm seriously considering dropping out of high school since the past 3 years.(Now I'm a senior). Its so agonizing having to endure catty snobs and ignorant biased teachers at school. The only thing keeping me in school right now is my personal relationships with some of my teachers. But I'm considering running away, b/c I can't join the Peace Corps yet.
MarinaUlliel, please hang in there -- don't let your enemies make you change your goals! Get your degree and then move on with your life. Your enemies will soon be in your past. Regards...
I think that even though it sucks balls, you should still go anyways just for the Diploma. I dropped out a year ago, then got into community college, but I just quit all academics this January. I don't regret it, although I just made it harder on myself, nothing comes easy. I wouldn't recommend it though!
I remember that when I was in middle school, I was a dilenquent. In 8th grade, I got the impression that I needed to pass my High School classes inorder to graduate. Now I am about to graduate early.
Ha 8th grade! YOU MUST OF STARTED EARLY. Or your definition of thug deliquent is someone with over sized pants and funny hair, or too colorful a t-shirt.
School was never meant to be, and will never be the most important thing in life, the most important thing in life is you being a good person!

I'm glad teachers are losing their jobs. Most of them are selfish pricks who do not care about those left behind anyway.

@visionimagify I give you thousands of thumbs up on your answer. When
kids drop out of school and if I heard the reasons how do you expect me to blame
most of them.

I wore a normal attire: Pants that fit and a solid-color shirt. I simply had a bad childhood.
