Dangerous Power G3 25 bps ramp

Well, it's been 2 months since anyone responded, but I'll ask anyway:

I have a G3-IQ with a TechT replacement Bolt, with an empire magna drive hopper.

The marker is ABLE to go 25bps, but keeps chopping paint.

It's the hopper, right? It uses sound, or an RF receiver. I was considering buying a Dye rotor, but should I buy the RF kit instead?

@falco1407 All paintball guns with a clean barrel and good paint shooting at 280 FPS have THE SAME accuracy. The gun itself has no effect on accuracy, just the barrel and the paint.

I feel like clearing some things up.

Sure the G3 is a great gun for what it is intended for. But it was designed for "club" level guys, not the guys in the pro scene. Thats why you don't see it at the big events being used by sponsored guys. So it is kind of ridiculous to compare this gun to more than anything out of its price range.

to end the argument below, here is the actual point. tippmanns suck. period. they are cheap and mechanical for one reason. It's so fields can buy them as cheap rentals. My local field switched to smart parts vibes recently. Yes, they can survive fires but what can't? Anything can survive a fire as long as it doesn't catch on fire. If a building is burning but the thing itself isn't on fire it will survive.

if u keep chopping then turn ur eyes on. ive had mine for a year. only time i chopped is when i had the eyes off and tried to go crazy with it. i have a rotor hopper. cant keep up with 25 bps. Dont care what anyone says.  . i also really like the stock barrel a lot. i usually use formula 13 or marbalizers. dont mind the rps premium either.

Yes, besides personal unaccounted, unproven and unsubstantiated claims. These are not proof of anything other than the fact that you can tell a story. May people claim to have seen god or aliens, this is not proof, just claims.

Any mechanical can be submerged and then fired. Whole books (made out of paper) can survive fires. When I was a kid and rental markers were all automags, to clean them they would submerge them in a bucket of water and fire them 20 times to clean them. then put them away.

it doesn't matter what so-called "amazing anti-chop-technology" it has, it will chop paint. it's not that it chops a ball before it gets completely in the breach, it's that it clips the bottom of the next ball which is then shot. Still, Just cause they're durable doesnt mean thery're good. I'd pick a bt-4 over a 98 c or an alpha black any day. Plus, theres so many boards that are waterproof for paintball guns. I have an upped slg sitting right next to me, i'll get a waterproof board, take a video and show you how it works..

I JUST looked at them, interchanged some of the parts, and when i tried to shoot it, Nothing happened. I checked that the safety was off, the bolt was back, everything. Heres what i have to say. these are WOODSBALL/MILSIM GUNS. Not for anything else, and should never be. I respect Tippmann and everything that they've done for paintball, im prob going to buy a carver one, but i'd prefer a G3 or an slg. Its my opinion. No need to get defensive and argumentative. yea they are good intro guns to start getting familiar with maintaining guns and learning the basics. my friend has had one for a few seasons and never took it apart to clean or lube it. they are built like tanks. but at the same time, a person who owns a higher end gun is more likely to shoot 5 times the amount of paint through it per season than a typical 98 or so. i think everyone should start off with a tippman or a spyder and after a season or two, upgrade if u deserve it...(skills)

@kenberg27 This is completely correct... another reason for this is if you give someone a semi gun to start with, they learn to aim... if it were up to me id make everyone start with a pump.  Im sick of people shooting 25 bps guns who cant hit a target 20 yards away with a single shot. Pro players with a pump could probably beat most novices with SLs for that reason alone, they know how to shoot.
