I understand now that it was the 14, but till i reviewed the video several times on here i couldnt see the route number. I've seen every type bus SEPTA has on the 130. It helps that i live along the route! :)
It's sad that 7101 is now on the 14 because those orange LED signs looked good on the 27, 33, 48, 60, etc. last time I saw it before it was swapped, it was on the 6. we'll miss those days!
While Comly has 30 of Allegheny's artics and if the 32 does return to Allegheny I personally see a artic on the 32 even though my operator pals have told me that SEPTA would never put a artic on the 32.
I learned from a operator I know he told me some of the Neoplan AN460s were going to Frankford, Comly and Callowhill and that SEPTA plans to get more articulated buses for districts in the city. 7101-7125 were orignially from the Allegheny District some of the New Flyer D40LF's went to Allegheny over the summer time.
Yes if they do get more artics they will have to get them from New Flyer since Neoplan USA is out of business and also SEPTA wasn't happy with Irakus/NABI in reguards to the 416s New Flyer has a wonderful selection of articulated buses to choose from and also I learned about the Frankford and Comly new Flyers going to Allegheny and I also heard talk about the 9 and 32 returning to Allegheny in the fall and the 6 going to Midvale. So far Allegheny has 30 of Frankford and Colmy's buses.
well if septa buys artics from new flyer they should get the the d60 galaxy like new york city transit cause they would definatly fit wit the neoplans when coming looks lol
lol o fa real wow so i guess they would just resemble the 40 ft new flyer septa already has, unless they get artics wit the new trackless trolley face
From the Philadelphia Transit Vehicles webpage its 7101-7130 at Comly 7101 is the only bus that has the orange lights like the new flyers. Since 7101-7130 went to Comly Midvale sent some of their artics to Allegheny leaving Midvale's fleet with only 49. I hope Allegheny gets new articulated buses and new hybrids as well.
i masturbated to this

What? Articulated buses can't run through rural neighborhoods? tsk tsk tsk lol

Well the odds of seeing an artic on the 130 is about the same as seeing an cutaway on the 60
