  • I can do front handsprings and front and back walk overs, but i cant do a back handspring cause im scared of throwing myself backwards! Any tips??? :)

  • @AnnaBoo73 I can do a back handsprig ok this is what u have to do if your doing this in a standing back handspring u put ur hands in the air make sure u body is tight n in a hollow position u put down your hands lean back n swing your hands back and make sure your body is still tight in the air and u go back if your doing this in a combination like round off then back handspring its the same well i am a gymnast so it might be different for u if your a cheerleader hope this helped

  • @AnnaBoo73 a tip is trust yourself and keep your arms tight and locked and arch ur back when you jump back. have someone spot you first though. If you dont know how a person should spot you just search it. theres lots of videos that will show you how to do a back handspring and how the person should spot you. hope this helped! :)

    In competitive cheer your tumbling classes are included in practice!

    If you wanna start tumbling TAKE CLASSES & watch videos if you're confused about anything... Thats how I did it!

  • You should really wear athletic shoes when tumbling. You can do a lot of damage to your ankles and knees without them.

  • Being a former gymnast, that's awesome that you can do that cause it does take a lot of practice, but your feet not being together just bugs the crap out of me. Haha, like I said though, I'm a former gymnast, don't take what I said to heart. Just a tiny pet peeve. :D Great job though! Keep working at it!

  • I think what she meant by bad was just that her form and technique was off. She has the tumbling down she just needs better form with it.

    (straighter arms/legs and getting more height and strength in it)
