Which do you like better!? The sizzix big shot or the cuddle bug? Do they both do embossing? I am wanting to get one of the 2... I like the big shot because it's pink and black Lol
The Big Shot is a tiny bit wider, there are some sizzix dies that won't fit thru the Cuttlebug. They do the same things, the most noticeable difference being the sandwiches you'll need to make using different products, but the Big Shot is a sturdier machine, with metal gears, not plastic, and a 3-year warranty.
Excellent tutorial...SO very well explained and you could see (close up) exactly what you were doing with the plates, etc...THANKS for making this video..I have the CBUG but SO want the Big Shot also...don't probably need both ?? but..why not??!! ha ha

I saw your video where the paper needed to be taken out with a tool after you cut it with the movers and shapers die---thought I would let you know that on one of tim holtz's tutorials, he mentions that those dies now come with a spacer of some sort so that you don't need a tool--and if you didn't get one when you bought yours, you can write to sizzix and they will give you one or two. Sorry I am not sure of the exact tutorial I saw this one...but it was a tim holtz movers and shapers one.
Hi i need to ask a really dumb question - but can the cuttlebugs plates - like the embossing plates or whatever cuttlebug die cuts plates be use together in the Sizzix Big Shot??
Love the tutorial. I have a question and that is does the BigShot from Sizzix comes with the spellbinders tan embossing mats?
