@yellowecotec I have a question about using hemp as biofuel. With corn to produce hydrogren, we are actually using more energy than we put in. With Hemp, what are the reasons we would be energy net positive and do you know by how much? What I am refering to is the diesel engines and machinery we use for farming etc.

We don’t want legalization of marijuana which leaves the government to control and regulate it. Thomas Jefferson was a hemp farmer. There are documents in Library of Congress where George Washington states that he liked sitting on the back porch smoking a pipe of hemp. In early Colonial times people could pay their taxes with hemp!

The Thrive Movement wouldn't include this because theyfeel people should be qble to create jobs themself but without government growth in order to do it. hemp does not need to be used for fuel today, but still is a miracle resource that is demonized so that the elite can continue to avoid the competition.
@viperhelix Yes it does! What else is everyone going to use the toxic inefficient energy we use today? Different hemp strains make more energy, some plants can grow like trees! Corn ethanol produces far less than hemp, they already corn for energy why not hemp it takes much less energy to grow hemp than corn, and you get a whole lot more, farmers are getting ripped off they could make way more money. Anyone could be self sufficient with hemp, if there is a better alternative why not use all.

I believe Foster touched down on the most important parts of the human life. There are millions of films out there that expose the lies about cannabis and its healing powers, (Run from the cure, as you mentioned above) There are not too many documantrys out there that have done what Foster has done. Corn ethanol produces far less than hemp, they already corn for energy why not hemp it takes much less energy to grow hemp than corn, and you get a whole lot more, farmers are getting ripped off they could make way more money. Anyone could be self sufficient with hemp, if there is a better alternative why not use all.

The symbolism they used in their poster is more like symbolizing someone waking up. Symbolizing someone that has lived their life in fear and unknown for so long, and finally taking the blindfold off. The Thrive documentary does just that. I have seen it. It is life changing. That being said, I also support legalizing one of the most resourceful plants known the man, Cannabis. I do not, however, fault the makers of Thrive for not including this information.

i tried to explain that there was a guy in canada who was curing end-stage cancer with cannabis. his response: if there was a cancer cure like that, then the pharma-industry would be heavily promoting it. the pharma industry would LOVE a cure for cancer. but there isn't any.

I have asthma and I ride my bike to work and back every day 5km.
