@sasi5325 Oh, I agree! I loved watching this film. I loved the whole forbidden love affair, but as well, the ramifications of the actions the characters took in the film, and how they suffered for it.

Truly tragic how Sonja's death occurred, with her pregnant and having been watched by her lover as she died, caused by her own father...something which always haunted him. You can just see elements of Romeo and Juliet here.

Is a prequel story, just like the Clone Wars storyline is supposed to depict the fall of the Republic in Star Wars. Obviously, Underworld is a much better produced and especially better acted trilogy than Star Wars, but that is where the two of them only match in the order of release of the films. It is like what happened with Star Wars, and they went back to tell how it all begins. Rhona Mitra is without a doubt hot as Kate Beckinsale but this movie and her charachter are set in the 12 century, much prior to Selene's and Michaels charachters. I think Sonja (Rhona Mitra) will be just as interesting and hot to see on film. She's coming along fine in hollyood, but I'm certain that she'd like to be doing more. I think it will rate highly with the other two films.
