  • Thank you Come Again~

  • @madrigalbna lol

  • Instead of rice vinegar can I use white vinegar?

Also Instead of Corn Flour can I use corn starch? Thank you!

  • @Shuhana10003 i think you can use flour, corn starch is usually a thickening agent so it wouldnt be too tasty using that for batter :s

  • good good now make curry

  • 2:47 did he just try to pick the chicken out of hot oil with his hands?

  • `what unit of measurement is this guy using? 1 tablespoon? that looked like 1 cooking spoon!!!

  • You can cook the chicken in the oven if you do not have any lard to fry it, just make sure you grease up the tray so it does not stick and turn the chicken a few times to make sure all the batter is golden brown.

  • at WHATEVER.COM!

  • sniff a couple blues then eat some of this stuff mHmmm ...nice cigarette after

  • oh yeah, lmao @ 4:29!

  • note to self: 3 tablespoons = 1 vah chef tablespoon.

  • Whats the diff btwn kung pao and gen tso's chikn except no vegis!!!!

  • Me too! what personality :)

  • Anybody who thinks that is a lot of pepper (or too much) is some sort of fooky headed twerp who has been conditioned by McDonald's as their benchmark for fine cuisine. Grow up. This chef uses enough ingredients so as to produce a rich robust flavor. Strong flavor - good flavor, flavor that frightens Americans and other easily spooked juveniles.

    Pepper? Bring it on!

  • @SororThothma Aren't you just the stereotypical Dheeli Choot ?

  • @SororThothma that's really ignorant of you to think like that -_-

  • Comment removed

  • @SororThothma You are taking it a bit too far are you not, to say that Americans don't like a bit of spice in their food is very ignorant and not truthful. Going by the comments of a few if not just one person to come to your conclusion is very foolish and shows that mediocrity of yours, which held no relevancy to the matter at hand -_-

  • Comment removed

  • @SororThothma in some cultures feces is a delicacy, you racist bastard.......that's all I ever see from people towards the US they call Americans racist because they think their ideals are correct when in fact they are the racist ones and need to look themselves in the mirror before insulting others.

  • Comment removed

  • @SororThothma I didn't call you racist -_- but you were on the verge of it, and if you had even half a brain on you you would read my comment before replying in such a childish manner

and try researching it people actually do eat feces.....I have no idea why but they do....well people are willing to eat other people so feces shouldn't be that shocking to you or anyone

  • me too i love this chef very nice awesome Allah bless him amin usa

  • im eating microwaveable**** general tso chicken and this shit taste fucking fake.... this is torture.

  • i love this guy

  • That's great! But why is it red in the restaurants where i eat it? and in some its this color?!

  • @trainsforever8 The ones with a red coloring is from a pre-made batch of marketed Tso sauce. It has sweetened plum, which makes it red and slightly more sweet than spicy.

  • @Dark0Malkavian Thank you~ ^^

  • Great video Chef, Thanks

  • LMFAOOOOO "wow"...

  • awwwww fuck i'm hungry...

  • I made this dish but w/ out corn flour very tasty, i would make some changes like using the corn starch for the batter and using more ginger and garlic and put good honey in the gen. tsao sauce for floral sweetness yumm

  • WEAR GLOVES FOR GOD SACKS!!

  • @steel6665 it is safer to use your bare hands rather then gloves. You hands should be cleaned and sterile before you start and after handling the raw chicken. What chef wears gloves?? Been a chef for 10 years

  • dude you have a talent

  • i will try it

  • He said a pinch of pepper and Sensei Apu over here throws half of the fucking container.

  • Chef I just finised cooking it took a taste and ......WOW!....it is delicious. But seriously this is the first time that I have followed a recipe for G.Tso Chicken and it came out tasting delicious. Thanks!

  • just made it and it turned out great. Not as crispy as I would have liked. But my tast buds were pleased. Thanks for Posting Sanjay Thumma :-)

  • I will try this tonight. I tried the other video that has been watched 123000 times and it was ok. The batter was not so thick. Looking forward to trying this tonight

  • (wow look at it) lol lol!!!

  • ive noticed that when making a badder as opposed to dipping, the chicken is much crunchier when you double dip. the badder although easier and effective, the chicken is usually soggier. to each his own

  • ive noticed that when making a badder as opposed to dipping, the chicken is much crunchier when you double dip. the badder although easier and effective, the chicken is usually soggier. to each his own

  • I can makie it at home in ten minutes!

pre cook chicken, freeze, make sauce in advance, add frozen veggies...

  • Comment removed

  • i watched alot of vids of recipes nd this one caught my eye because of tha ending when he taste the chicken juz tha reaction on his face showed me this is the one i should be cooking cause i don't see that alot its rare

  • Fuck yes...fuck yes. I must agree. I used this batter and never went back, all the other batters where too thin. This one is the way to go.

  • wsell. deep fried foods should be added at the very end to maintain crispyness. boiling the chicken will just soften the batter and make it soggy.

  • he should have cooked the chicken in two stages also. cook it half way first then remove and strain the oil. then cook it til completely done. make your sauce, thicken it then add the chicken

  • And Kung Pao chicken delicioso : )

  • I like the way he make this dish. A lot of garlic and hot peppers Mmm...... =)

  • I love his voice. "if you batta is too tin" ^_^

  • Great recipe, but am I missing something? Follow what he says for the slurry, (1/2 cup of corn starch)...and it is not even close to being anywhere thin enough to dip in or absorb all the corn starch?

  • @Infamous0101 any kind of stock nigga....

  • an indian making Chinese lol.

  • @rctriplefresh5 There are actually a lot of Indians in China, so no surprise he's making Chinese!

  • My new favorite youtube chef

  • great video..... 4:30 is the best part.....you calmost ascended to the heavens after trying your own dish...."wow"

  • lol after 4:24

  • did he say "corn" flour or plain flour??

  • @crapi4got hell yeah i was crackin up...i thought he was bout to do a prayer to allah...wow!

  • 4:31 hahahaha wtf!!

  • Great video.

  • nice job. I appreciate your knowledge. thank you. plan to adopt your recipe and technique. looks great. keep it up.

  • Though I seriously love Emeril and other US chefs, the Asian and European chefs seem to have the most fun cooking. You guys make a great cooking show that's very humorous and educational! Thanks for the ideas! :D

  • I just made this dish about 5 minutes ago .....and boy does it tastes so good.....thanks for the recipe...u saved my life..Now i will never order general tso's chicken from the restaurant ever again

    THANK YOU...

  • 4:30 rofl praise alah!!

  • i noticed that too...Hilarious

  • I thought it supposed to be reddish brown not light brownish red

  • he used his hands ill......

  • @yellowbrickroad You should have clean hands when you cook anyway

  • I dont know which is worse, this guy or seeing a chinese showing you how to cook Indian food.

  • It would be nice to try the recipe and then comment! I don't go about replying to criticism of this sort, but I for a fact have tried this recipe and it comes out really good. Don't go by the accent or looks... He might not be a "Gordon" but he definitely is a good cook.... In any case, if you don't want to learn a "Chinese" (americanized) recipe from an Indian, you could learn the Indian recipes, because they are really authentic....

  • 4:30 wow lol

  • thats the norm here in nyc

  • why not they got some mexican guys cooking chinese food at panda express.....

  • The corn starch or corn flour is mixed well with a little of water so it does not clump.

  • thanks God i love this video

general tsos is my favorite food

  • could anyone just clarify something for me real quick?

At about 4:00 he says "Make a well and add a little bit of cornstarch", but what he pours in appears to be a liquid... what's the cornstarch mixed with there?

  • Water and cornstarch.

  • haha well thtat was easy ;D

    thanks mate

  • yes it's cornstrach and water mixed together

  • its called a slurry, you do that because just adding corn starch raw would clump, the point of the starch is to thicken the sauce not absorbed by the chicken
