I do agree and completely understand that this must be a pain in the butt, but by the same token, it IS the railroad's property, and where else are they going to be able to store the cars? They could try to store them in more rural areas, but what if all the rural locations nearby have already been filled with cars? Where are the railroads supposed to store them if they run out of space, and if they can't store them on tracks? I like your other video's idea of painting murals on them :)
Well, i'm sure that if a group would come together and pay the C&NC what they are getting for the storage, they would do so. You are looking at about $4 per car per day, adds up to a lot...
Thanks to toyota these rail cars sit here. They had a dodge parts plant here in new castle but they shut it down. Everybody in town drives a toytoa. And they wonder why that plant closed and these rail cars are sittin here. Oh what a feeling to drive. Toyota. Gooda mate.
@Nathanrailfan - Yes that is correct. I've seen train cars all over the country now and this is the only place I've seen these. I've heard they were in other places in Indiana, but I've not seen them. I heard that the contract will run out in a couple of months, but I expect it to be resigned and will will still have them here for another year.

i wouldn't mind seeing the actual diesel or whatever they use to pick it up but the graffiti is the only thing I'd regret.
