You played with no heart, no emotion, it was clear to any musicians or fans of music that you did not have any meaning behind any of your songs. To be honest you looked like former high school football players who were not good enough for college and had nothing else to do with your life so you tried to sound generic and radio friendly in hopes of becoming "cool" again I bet Travis was pissed that he had to listen to 3 horrible bands before he could play some real music

It's a shame that you don't know good music. DAys of the New was boring compared to these gus. Everybody left after they stopped playing. Days didn't even have a crowd after their 3rd song, because no one was digging it. None of his songs will be big off the new album, because it's too far out there. Good music, but not what a party crowd wants to here. Stitch Rivet on the other hand stole the show!!

I am embarrassed that a genius musician, and a person who truly has emotion in their music had to listen to that regurgitated generic crap that sounds like every other terrible pop rock radio band. Sadly its hard to believe but you guys were worse then 3 doors down, nickelback and all that other crap combined. If I was Travis Meeks I would have walked on stage, told you guys to leave or just canceled the show... simply horrible your lyrics were worse then what a middle schooler would make.

Travis Meeks is a good guitar playersinger, but not a genius. I think the reason he has so many problems is because he knows he'll never be opening for big bands or headlining a tour again. I love travis and hope he keeps writting music, but just because people didn't appreciate him at this show, doesn't mean you should say bad things about a band that the crowd loved!!

A local band should bring fans why would they not? Had it not been a new years show then Days would have kept the fans, instead none of the fans showed. I dont want to bash stitch I dont know the guys, but I wont listen to anything with a generic sound. Any band could call their friends and invite them to a local show. And to say Travis meeks is not a genius is blasphemous, his knowledge and skill is so far beyond any member of Stitch Rivet. Travis was opening for Metallica at 16 dont forget

I wouldn't exactly call stitch rivet local. They live over an hour away from lexington and while at the show I met several people from Ohio, Indiana, W. Virgina who drove hours just to see them.

I wouldn't compare Travis to SR's guitar players. They are totally different. I'd bet money they are just as good at what they do as Meeks is playing accoustic. I know all about his past, and it is impressive. But, now look at him. He may be smart, but he's lived his life the dumbest way he possibly could.

Days of the New is just as local as Stitch Rivet in this area. L-ville is about an hour away from Lex too. It's a shame, but now a days, most people don't even know who they are around here. Days played at T-Bombs in richmond not to long ago and still didn't draw nothing like SR did last month when they played there. BTW, I've heard Travis and Gene (SR's Singer) are really good friends. I heard they both suffer from autism and share a lot in common.

All I know is the members of SR have struggled to get were their at and to call their music generic should also be considered blashemous. Every song off thier homemade cd hit home. It's moved me and got me through some of the toughest times this past year. While I loved the Orange album, I believe SR's first studio production will be just as good and they they will be touring with the big bands.
