i don't hear anything in this interview about Stevenson talking about a win over Bute in Commonwealth games...I searched the list of participants at the 2006 commonwealth games and could not fight Bute...what are you guys talking about???

@MariusDeDracul i didn'T know what you meant about the commomweath , and after i saw the descripton, the fact is that he was training for the commonwealth game when he kocked bute in sparing, may be thats what the description meant because bute turned pro in 2003 so, anyway, im glad that you have a better knowledge of this guy , and i totally agree about is little lack of technique but he is so powerful , i know some one who fight him twice and he says that his hands are like rocks!

@mulatomboxe I never heard of that. Anyways if true sparring doesn't mean jack. Glen Johnson claimed that when he sparred with Bute he whooped his ass but in the fight Bute dominated.

Point is why would Bute fight this guy when he could be facing the winner of Super 6 or other fighters that will bring in higher revenues like Kessler, or the loser of Super 6 or even the Dirrell brothers. Bute wants to fight world class oponents and while this Adonis guy is good he is not world class.

@MariusDeDracul well... i never said why would bute fight him, i think it would be a very bad decision from him to fight adonis because it's true he didint bring money yet, he is dangerous with both hands( he his the only guy who gave a knock down to jean pascal and it was as an amateur ) and he has only 16 bouts.... yet , but my question wasnt about that.. i ask how would bute kick his ass... dan don'T compare him to glen johnson ...please!

@mulatomboxe look id Adonis gets to #1 contender than Bute will fight him. Until then Bute will want to unify his world titles. I do not know enough to say whether it is a bad fight or good fight for him. Not sure if he is better than Andrade (yeah he beat Pryor who beat Abdrade) but I would want to see Andrade fight Adonis first. I still think Andrade is tougher than Pryor even if he lost on points

@MariusDeDracul this fight wasn't even close he give him what 3 knock downs.... what else to say he is able to knock people that had never been stopped before as jermain mackey which jean pascal did 12 rounds with or like this pryor ....anyway

@mulatomboxe I was wrong about this guy. I've watched several of his fights. He is very powerful. He is currently working with Emanuel Steward who is world class. But to beat Bute he will have to do more than just come forward and punch non-stop. Lucian knows how to handle those type of fighters. He will need more technical skills to win unless he somehow catches Lucian with one of those crazy punches. Anyways yes I beleive he is a real threat to Lucian.
