  • Everything Cam Newton is doing, VY already did. 3000/1000, lead nation in passing efficiency, big, strong, fast, dominating, and he did it while sitting out most of the 4th quarters of every game. tOSU, Aggy and USC being the only games he played the entire game. Easily the best player to never win the Heisman, and definitely better than quite a few, if not most actual Heisman winners. Id include Reggie Bush in that list, and I would still take VY over Cam Newton, but its close.

  • I feel so sorry for USC. They never had a chance. USC played second rate teams all year and still barely made it to the Rose Bowl. Vince and Mack toyed with them all game to the point that they actually thought they had a chance to win. I loved watching all those Trojan fans cry at the end of the game. Hilarious. This is Texas. Football is what we do.

  • Didn't they say the same thing that soccer said about Mike Vick? I remember them saying, "He relied too much on his speed in college, he won't be as good in the NFL." All he did was take his team to the NFC Champhionship, with terrible talent around him. Vince will do the same, and if he gets good players around him, he'll be that much better.

  • Vince Young will prove to be a great QB in the NFL...possibly one of the greatest. I'm not just saying this because I'm a hugh Titans fan either. Like jrl2320 said, VY did dominate in college and you cannot have that kind of season and NOT be able to read defenses. Of course everyone needs a little time to get comfortable in a new league, but VY will be a very interesting QB to watch over the years with all the talent he has on the ground and through the air!
