Agree with Zombieland it is what it is. However very light strings and lowering the bridge makes a big difference. Never going to be as good as my Seagull ,but great for strumming away in the sun.

Well, two things... I don't think that sucked at all! It was great and you are very helpful in your review. Second, I bought a Rover a year ago and would also never endorse it. The intonation is horrible! Adjustments and new strings (suggested by Guitar Center's tech) couldn't help it. I am happy in that I bought it off of Craigslist for $40 and it turns out to be a great conversation piece... it hangs on my wall with my other 3 travel guitars. My Applause AA10 is my favorite traveler.
yeah this thing is made in china, its why i dont trust it, i wanna get a small guitar just for practicing my chords and whatnot when im bored because i have problems getting motivated too and the large body acoustics arent very comfortable, the martin backpacker has a nicer neck and is at least made in mexico on the same land mass, but the body sucks compared to this one
I love my washburn rover. I got it when they first came out. I must admit the intonation was slightly off but a little turn of the allen wrench on the truss rod did the trick. mine stays in tune great and was crafted very well and no greasy finger prints.
right on...what the !@#$ do people expect, i hate to be over analytical on over anxious idiots who buy this guitar thinking it's going to sound like a $3k Martin. This is what it is, a practice tool, a backpackers gem, etc. People(most likely americans) need to learn some basic appreciation, my god. If you watch a comedy, expect comedy, etc, play a tiny guitar compared to standard guitar expect tiny, it is what it is, did some expect more, lmfao(wtf)
@ColbyClarked - I will Colby...A) people are focussed on the guitar and review, not so much my ability. 2) They can not see my head, so will not stare at me in a way that makes me uncomfortable, and if they did, I would not know it. 3rd) I am somewhat ADHD when it comes to instruments. PDS is quite real for me not to mention my Tendinitis wrists issues , but thank you much.

@harpzila - I must have gotten a lemon, but I'm glad you like yours, maybe the quality went down when it got popular and mass produced.
