OK since it seems no one here knows anything about law enforcement, let me explain a thing or two. In the video it is clear that the women was reaching into her handbag while she approached the officers. One of the first things police officers learn is to watch the hands of the suspect. Hands in a pocket, a waste band, a purse, could be hands going for a gun, a knife. Nice, you all can mock this type of situation but then again, I doubt any of you have been confronted with armed suspects.
