What's sad is not that some people confuse Perry Como and Frank Sinatra here but the fact that if you ask a lot of young people who sings this song and I am sure they would automatically think of The Fugees. :( Sad what my generation is missing.

Everybody's right. This is Perry Como and not Frank Sinatra. Also, according to "Second Hand Songs" this version actually pre-dates Roberta Flack's famous cover version. The original was by folk singer Lori Lieberman. Also predating, Flack's was a fast(er) tempo version by Bobby Goldsboro.Frank actually never recorded this song, according to the sites I've visited.
