  • Whats ur best tv/movie client? It can be movie or just tv alone...

  • Why don't you try Miro on Windows if you have it. I have tried Linux and it is a slower operating system than Windows is. Also you cannot install a lot of software. Where as with Windows you have more choice. Andrea.

  • @andrea22borman The old version of Miro was slow, the newer versions are not. My Linux system is faster than my windows system, u probably used a distro that is wrong for your machine. True you have more software on windows, but it doesnt mean they are all better software. Always use what is best for you

  • @andrea22borman Yes because I'm sure he's never heard of Windows before

  • help... the thing isn't downloading on piratebay just startingup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the wallpaper

  • Hello #UN# nice video - visit Diamond Torrents dotty info for more cool videos!

  • I downloaded Miro and I checked the version but it's not the latest one. How do you update it?

  • @Charles2337 add the miro ubuntu PPA, then update and upgrade

  • @gotbletu Awesome it worked. Thanks.

  • Thanks man. You're the best.

  • Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure whether to upgrade to this since I wasn't aware of the speed difference. I was previously prompted to upgrade Miro in the past and when I didn't see any difference. This version seems like a definite upgrade.

  • Sweet! Thanks for the heads up :D

Also, Democracy Now... +2 for you!

  • Could you include a link to that Tifa picture you have as a background. Many Thanks

  • I was waiting for this... seems they did a decent job. Now if they only make a TV friendly media center version. Good vid Bletu :)

  • using ubuntu karmic, still slow as crap.

    The videos lag like crazy.

I didn't have this problem a few versions ago. (then again, it might be karmic...)

  • They should have made miro compatible with the iPod touch instead of rhythmbox. And for chaostheory, some of us do have iPhones and iPod touches. I, myself don't buy music anymore. Well, very little. I use my iPod touch for games, apps and podcasts. Linux can only help with music and some podcasts. I wonder how compatible Ubuntu will be for the iPad. Yes, I plan on getting one.

  • I see Tifa

  • Thats Cool, I'll check it out.

  • hey man can you make a vid on getting itunes on mint?

  • Why would you want to use iTunes? Rhythmbox and Banshee support the iPod's. If you want it because of the store use AmazonMP3 or the Ubuntu Music Store (coming in 10.04). I honestly can't see a reason why you'd want to use it on Linux?

  • because i have an iphone

  • @DavidJasonSoto They support the iphone too.

  • Are you saying i can sync music from Miro to my iphone? that sounds to good to be true.

  • Awesome cool stuff gotbletu and now I'm going to use it. I dont have much space on my hardrive so auto delete is good.

  • My favorite part of version 3 is the ability to use totem over their built in player. Nice.
