  • Mr. B, my polish rooster loves his hens. He protects them,and has even sat on eggs to give his hen, "Honey" a break to eat and drink. When one of his hens panics, he rushes to help her. The flock are the bosses of the cats and will often let them come into the coop to cool off. Their personalities vary so much. I have 3 roosters(2 polish and 1 Hooten)and about 20 hens.Polish, Frizzles and polish frizzle mixes. I hatch their eggs and we wouldn't think of eating our pets.
