  • @tinc21 listen and you will hear that the sound or beat of the cylinder timing is off a bit. A member at my club, Golden Gate Live Steamers, had a decapod that would lock up at a pull of the throttle. The locomotive in the video has the same problem, but the timing is not far enough out of balance to make it lock up. Hope this answers your question!

  • I don't know, I'll ask the owner next time I see him. The design does look to be the right age to have a BL origin.

  • My dad has a 7 1/4" gauge atlantic very similar to this but the paint work is alot more accurate to GNR livery
