Ha...that's the Westar Energy plant East of Tecumseh. The plant is about 3 miles West of where I shot "The Southwest Chief At Hershell Rd." Wish it was one!...Thanks!...Doc

I wonder how come in the City and around the Pauline/Montara area the bells stay on until the gates go up but around N. Topeka over Thur Grantville and Perry they only sound when the gates go down and up.

I don't know. Interesting ovbservation this morning. The train signal looking South didn't turn from yellow to red until the exact time that the crossing started ringing, and the bars began to lower. It's supposed to be turning quite a bit earlier than that....THANKS!...Doc
