Wow.. I remembered the theme song and the idea behind these parts, but I never realized how clever the whole thing was - the handles on the cups moved, the two mugs combined into each other... With hindsight, this is one of the coolest things from Sesame Street!
Teeny Little Super Guy is actually from my childhood while watching Sesame Street. Sometimes I think they need to do a remake of the old Teeny Little Super Guy segments.
yay! this makes me sooo happy! haha I also felt like a crazy person when I tried to explain these episodes to ppl! Now I can share this with my 4 year old!
@Smartboy8877 I never said Elmo wasnt good.....just that they dont show sketches like this anymore, or Billy Joe Jack and his sister Smart Susie Sunset.
This is so cool! It's great to see him again. Everytime I hear someone that sounds like him. I think of the Teeny little super guy. Know what you mean about people thinking you made it up. But here he is!!!!!!
You know, watching this as a kid, I didn't realize that a lot of the background stuff wasn't relevant to what TLSG was saying... do you know what I mean? I mean the little antics of the baseball players, I always assumed that voice overs were talking about what's on screen at that moment. haha...
omg! i so remeber this show when i was just 5 and now in 13... such great animation.... i just love seame street and i thank them for teachin me my numbers and haveing a good morning watching the show
Unlike generations before us, we had some REALLY good programming! I miss shows like this. I actually remember seeing this show the first time when I was in the 3rd grade. Thanks Sesame Street for ALL the great shows! They've walked me into my adulthood! I wish we could go back and make programs like this again!
now THIS was Sesame Street!!!

@2199
It seems like a lot of people blame Elmo for the downfall of this show. I think that it is a lot more complicated than just his presence.

@2199
I follow what you are saying. I think that the show being monopolized by Elmo is only one of thge reasons that "Sesame Street" went down the toilet.
Smartboy8877 9 months ago
Thank god for youtube, or I would have thought I was going crazy with some of the things I remembered from Sesame street lol.

how in the world does he disappear into the counter then come back out the sink? It has always puzzled me.
shoganguy33 2 years ago
probably because it's a neat stop motion trick, you need sections of the object you make go "through" something.
