@imrankh68 JF-17 is mean to be for hi-low mix. F-16 for hi and JF-17 for low, LCA can't fight well in low range, and if a war escalates, they will lose more aircrafts. It cost more to manufacture and they can only fight at high altitudes which is quite easy for radar to pickup and SAM can just finish them off easily. Easy target for F-16 missile too. F-16 do a good job with BVR. PAF also upgrading its JF-17 with BVR.

@imrankh68 JF-17 is mean to be for hi-low mix. F-16 for hi and JF-17 for low, LCA can't fight well in low range, and if a war escalates, they will lose more aircrafts. It cost more to manufacture and they can only fight at high altitudes which is quite easy for radar to pickup and SAM can just finish them off easily. Easy target for F-16 missile too. F-16 do a good job with BVR. PAF also upgrading its JF-17 with BVR.
