Props to St Trinians for running a terrific race in the Vanity Handicap on this day. But in all candor, just watch Zenyatta when she realizes it's time to go. Because of her running style, Zenyatta had several races in her career where the finish made the outcome look closer than it really was. Because when she went after St Trinians in the stretch of this race, she wasn't expending anywhere near 100% of what she was capable of mustering, IMO.
@greyhoundsylvester Oh yes Zenyatta's twirling ears at the finish line sure show that she was all-out with nothing left getting past St Trinians, lol oh you fool, you poor poor delusional fool with multiple YouTube accounts.
The voice of the announcer makes this race (actually every race of Zenyatta's) that much more exciting. Zenyatta provides the thrill, and the announcer adds the icing to the cake..............ZENNNNNNYATTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! WHEWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
She's a very tough race-mare in her own right. But every time I see St Trinians in a race, I can't help but think that she has the most awkward looking leg action that I've ever seen on any thoroughbred. Her left front leg, instead of just reaching straight out ahead of her with it, goes around in an almost 180 degree-like circle every time she picks it up and lays it down. A very strange leg action indeed. IMO.
wake up nyra and put up 5 million for rachael and zenyatta to race at belmont or saratoga, there are plenty of races they can put that purse on, wake up!
give the people on east coast a chance to see the best mare(horse )ever
@Willyrooster, as of right now, Zenyatta hasn't avoided Rail Trip. I read an article on a racing web-site just this morning that stated Zenyatta's connections are very seriously considering the Hollywood Gold Cup for her next race. If Zenyatta goes to the HGC, she'll definitely meet Rail Trip there. Rail Trip would be a very dangerous competitor for her to try and beat, too. As well as Quality Road and Blame race over conventional dirt. Rail Trip races equally well on synthetics. He'd be tough.

@GBeret83 Yes she was. She was all out to catch St Trinians. And she was all out to TRY to catch Blame and couldn't do it. Overrated nag.

Vic Stauffer is an amazing announcer. His best call was the 2007 Hollywood Gold Cup.

@GBeret83 Her legs look like they're going in four different directions, like a shopping cart with four bad wheels.
