Quality away day, we played really well first half and had to dig in a bit in the second half. I think it would of been a great game to watch as a nuetral aswell, Ofcourse the three points did help somewhat in me enjoyin the game, that and been pissed. Regardless of the reasons for the high crowd it was still a high crowd with a generally decent atmosphere all game, plus Mcsheffrey didn't end up scoring as I predicted pre match. All in all a great day.

Impressive away following. Most of us if we're honest would be a little envious of those numbers. However, we only turned out to watch one team and it wasn't the visit of mid table opposition. You deserved the win tho, edged it on overall balance. Shame we never turned up for the first half. Should have realised something was gonna go wrong when that big banner ended upside down when it got to the far end. In the old days thats how the admiralty used to convey a distress signal isn't it?

As you may know, football fans can be a fickle lot - easier to turn out regularly when your team are winning. Don't flatter yourself, this isn't late 60's/mid 70's. You're no great attraction anymore to anyone other than your own supporters. We only turned up to watch city win. Disappointing for us but the better team just about deserved it.

I don't mean to sound like a typical deluded Leeds fan but...

If you look at the stats, every team we have played away against this season (except Watford), our match has been their highest attendance. That's no coincidence. Granted it's early in the season and that might change.

You may have been on a good run, but a good run doesn't draw in 11000 more fans, 5-6000 maybe.

If leeds are no great attraction anymore how come you didnt get your average attendance but got 10,000 more just because leeds were playing you. If your fans turned up to watch coventry then surely we'd expect you to get the same attendance the next time you're at home.

Fair play for taking time out to record and put it up, know the attendance was a big one, still a lot of empty seats, didnt realise how big ricoh was, (thats not a dig by the way..).. not too sure about the inbred chant, would think we had circa 1k fans who are from in around cov / midlands amongst our huge following of 6,400, but then again you get that at big clubs!

The chant comes from a few weeks ago, we were playing Leicester and sang it to them (... you're interbred and your Leicester scum), we sang it for about 20 mins (check out my vids of it!), so i think someone just thought, so it - lets sing it again with a twist!! Good game, Leeds did well, shame we couldnt have pushed up into third. Hope we beat Forest on Tuesday! PUSB!! :o)
