our heart goes out for the people of Victoria i could not even think of what they are going through. that video was verry overwelming. Nice song choice... Well done
We have lived the same nightmare here in Greece ,during august of 2007, and I know how you feel ...I also know that you are strong people and you'll find the courage to heal your wounds fast !
I hope those arsonists get chainsawed slowly, so that they can feel the pain of all the 200+ people who were burned alive. RIP to those who died, from Singapore
Thank you for this, as i was directly affected in the Narre warren sth fire it just makes our fire look like nothing at all, even though we lost six houses in our street. My heart is with all that helped, and all that i hope that still will.
Thank you so much for putting this together. I am in the NSW Rural Fire Service and watched this at a friends house. I cried through the whole thing. It is devastating and for someone to take the time to put what you have together is wonderful. I'm sure the guys and girls of the CFA in Victoria would be impressed with your effort. Laura Chapman.
Thank you for your warm thank you's it is honestly all so appreciated, the response has been over whelming. I was listening to Hamish and Andy so far, and TODAY FM and the TRIPLE M network have raised over 2 million dollars today for the RED CROSS! And COLES supermarkets are asking if you would like to donate at the check outs! Come on Australia lets help rebuild as many lives and homes as we can.

i'm glad you posted this on the internet so that other people around the world know just how much shit we are putting up with right now and ask for their support.
When our crew (firies) came off the fire ground at 6.00 a.m. Sun Morning- we all said - the world would wake up to see this devestation and be in disbelief - our strike teams were blown away by the devistation to poeples lives - pick this one - kill that one - let that one live - don't touch that one. Truly the finger of God......
Waking up and reading all your responses this morning has left me with goose bumps. Thank u for your thoughts, and your updates. To the DailyCrumb, the sonf is we are AUSTRAILIAN with RAI THYSTLEWAYTE singing it! My heart is honestly breaking every time i hear updates on the fires, The death toll keeps rising, and to the man who lost his family, and to everybody whos been touched by this disatser, i send u my strength.
thankyou very much for that eye opening experience, you see it on the news but nothing compares to the devastation you see on this video and for that i am gratful for your input.
i dont know what to say, im form Greensborough which is about 20 k's from Kinglake which i used to ride my motorbike around every weekend, ive met the people ate with them talked with them drank with them....went to uni with some....now im 20,000 k's away and tears just run down my face...R.I.P. all......we'll never forget...
as far as i know its 173 at 10 feb, 6:30. It's terrible, if it was an arsonist i hope they died in their own fire. there is no rational excuse that can justify for the lives lost... i heard on the news that a man lost his wife, his 2 children and his farm. thats his whole life gone.
Dude there is no need to say that every one else is being sensable with there comments and there you go being racist in a time of need and dispare u bring in the rascism jeez why did you say this?
we lost our house. then we moved to toowoomba :s im so unlucky
