Comparatif Cameras Embarquées : GoPro HD, Drift HD170 et Oregon ATC9k

This is curious: the Drift it's really the best of this footage with more precise image, best saturation and contrast. Saw a MTB footage where everything was too dark with the same camera! The ATC9k is weak: look at all that grain, and the awful sound! I have an old ATC2K and it has the same problem. But this video was a surprise and now I ask myself: what's best compromise of them all? The one good for road shot, MTB and snow shots? I plan to use it in all of these conditions...

When a video is on full screen the souns comes comes from the mic's camera in question,

when slpit screen it's the sounds of the drift which is clearly the best (and I didn't used the external mic which provides even sound)

@Phactioncam,ok thanks, ok dsl I did not hear the sounds behind the music. the "drift" attracts me a lot. Especially since they have released the new model "stealth"! If I was not a surfer, I'll buy the drift, the problem is that I need a waterproof camera ... What bothers me with the "go pro" is that I will also buy an external microphone and a remote that is not created yet ... and all these options will cost a maximum, especially in France ... so I hesitate

The ATC9K seems awful compared to the others 0_0

I'm actually planning on buying one of these but can't decide :(

Looks like the GoPro is washed out but that could be because of where it's mounted. The ATC9K has truely awful sound but decent video.

Thanks for the comparison. Seems that the ATC9k is a bit more clear (GoPro seems to have a somehow dusty image). However, in terms of audio, it sucks. :D

On this vid,

the Drift is clearly the camera giving the sharpest footage and the best contrast/saturation (without taking into account the extra features like screen and remote, handy when cam is mounted outside the car ;)

the GoPro would come second

and ATC9k 3rd
