I'm with you RD. Im tired to distorted 303's as well.. It sounds best when it's DRY. Well.. almost dry. Some compression / phraser at right doses might give it even "dryer" sound in some circumstances. =)

There was too much hard acid techno at 90's with distorted TB's and BD's.

Jeez, you young guys. I just spent an hour reliving my past and just looked at some comments. "how do I get the clap?" turn off your laptops get a MC303 or the real thing if you can afford it. spend a few weeks with the device and nothing else if you have any tracks worth listening too after that, you have potential as a producer. If not, join the ranks of would be producers who sell all their kit when they hit 30. Less is more, your bass and beats will better for it.

I have no money for these machines and want to learn some basic editing with it since i have midi-input machines like the EMU X-board49 and the Launchpad from Novation :)

@greendiego777 You need a "midi-to-sync-converter" like the "Doepfer MSY2". 909-Midi-Out into the MSY2, clock-out from the MSY2 into the 303. That's it. For the connection you need two Midi-cables.
