if you still have your catalytic converters i maybe intrested and you say 4.2? i thought these cars were strictally 2.2 unless you did and engine swap and if so, how hard was it

@prendaj While the U.S. only got the S4/S6 with the 5 cylinder engine, there were 3 basic variations of the "S" version of the Audi 100 (C4 chassis). The S4 had the 2.2L 5cyl turbo, whereas the S6 had either the 5cyl or the option (Not in USA) of the 4.2L V8, and finally as a very limited variation, the S6 PLUS also had the 4.2L engine but a higher-performance build spec, putting out almost 40hp more than the other 4.2 S6. (227hp 5cyl, 286hp 4.2, and 322hp 4.2 PLUS)

@kupsztalll yes I have a Simons catback exhaust and the car is (too) quiet at the moment. Yes these old V8's tend to consume some oil, but not as much as the older 91-94 100 S4 models.
