Sources have confirmed that Mitchell Rubin, chairman of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, has received a so-called "target" letter, indicating he is a target of the ongoing investigation of corruption related to the Vincent Fumo case.
Ed Rendell said Tuesday he will review whether the chairman of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Comm. should keep the job despite income he received from a taxpayer-financed consulting job controlled by former Sen. Vincent Fumo, whom a federal jury convicted of 137 corruption chargesA top state senator, meanwhile, called on commission Chairman Mitchell Rubin to explain why he should not resign the post and return the money he received from the consulting work that Fumo's prosecutors called a ghost job.
i drive a semi truck and we pay enough in road tax and fuel tax and tolls all across the us, we need to create more jobs in pa,but not in the line of toll roads on interstate 80, were we pay corrupt politicans to do nothing, that is what is wrong with this country today to many corrupt politicans, squeeze the honest and true hard working americans that always pay there way in life and dont steel there money they earn it. i dont see any politicans losing the homes because of increasing taxes.
The government of Indy never listened to their people and now they have a nightmare on their hands. Lack of maintenance, poor snow removal, higher tolls, and tax evasion. Gee,least out a tax paid road on American land from witch more then likly will be from a forgen land... Yea it works...Like right.
commfound. they are not ALL former employees. The "former" you are referring to in the video are relations to a former governor. Play it again, look closer.
This foundataion and group of people posting the negative ads are a bunch of losers. The lease isn't good for PA, and that is the bottom line. The Commonwealth Foundation is a group of underachievers who don't like what they see whan they look in the mirror.
Well they got caught. At least they dont create 5 mile back ups on I95 by closing two lanes so Penndot employees can walk up the shoulder picking up trash. Or Forget to Salt I78 and I80 during a snowstorm creating a 20 mile backup and stranded motorists like Penndot does.
Also, check the title under those names listed. All are "former" employees. Anyone can go back years and find patronage in all state agencies. Give it a break.

Former Scranton Mayor Jim Connors' son Zack also got on the gravy train at the Turnpike Commision and worked there when he wasn't getting arrested.
