There's quick shredding metal on one side and when you fed up with that there's slow deep metal on the other side like this, yin and yang sides of each thing as we know. This side being Yin or Yang but this goes very deep though we can't tell it simple or elaborated, it goes straight to the core and nothing can't it do better. I can't stop myself listening to it.

i have been listening to these lads for about 3 months now...at first the vocals just seemed ... unnecessary,no offence but i thing the music by itself pretty much does the job...i eventually ended up liking the vocals,even if there's nothing really original or new about them,i just accept them as an instrument that blends just fine to the mix.thums up Amenra,excelent band.

@sheshdd I've known em for like 7 years now (first saw them in 2004 with Morda). I've seen them a few times know, and let me guarantee you. The atmosphere during these shows is amazing. Dark, creepy, intense at one time and flowing the other time. SO GOOD MAN :D

It takes some time to get used to these vocals, but once you get over that, you get to the real taste of this band. Extremely raw, pure, straight, without any bullshit. I would also like to mention the lyrics, which fits their music perfectly, and are fucking awesome anyway :

@miklec666 True... their music is not hard to play. The hard part lies within the atmosphere these guys manage to create. Unmatched by ANY band in Europe. It's Intense, emotional, loud, but also fragile at the same time. And even though they sound evil and dark.. they bring out a positive message. See positiveness in everything.. even in death.

Amenra is incredible. In my opinion they're like the GY!BE of Atmospheric Sludge. They have this amazing mystique about them and they're absolutely unique sounding...The vocals are absolutely unmatched in the genre, IMO, and the riffs and atmospheres that the guitarists create are gorgeous. Amazing work from the drummer, too. I'd kill to see these guys live. Hope they come to Canada soon.

I saw them at dour totally unexpected, I just walked towards the music. The were playing this song and I was totally blown away. The singer standing with his back to the crowd and he was like cutting himself in his neck and it was like I could hear his pain in the vocals.
