I don't believe Wanda said anything about the pizza being free. Also notice how it's only when Wishbone looks in the mirror that he looks different. In the shot just beforehand, he looks the same as he always does.

I loved Wishbone or Soccor. Thats his real name. He was my friends dog. Its sad that he died. I have a little plush of him to make sure I don't cry.
