i can understand why for the safety reasons but i gotta say, i really like driving and when cars drive themselves do you really think that health and safety and government will allow us the opportunity to drive ourselves, i doubt it. It will be a luxury for track days. I think this is technology for technology sake.
@perrin271 how can you say it is technology for technologies sake when it will save lives. people die every day because of human error. this is a fantastic cause. I want a self drive winnerbaygo. how awesome would it be to visit your mates in other states without having to drive for 10hrs, just tuck yourself into bed and wake up in the morning 500 miles down the road
I can envision truck drivers, taxi drivers, and chauffeurs out in the streets with torches and pitchforks. Ha ha.

@perrin271 driving is fun if you are able to drive on big open stretches of scenic road, but in the city, it's a chore!
