There has been evidence of religion since the beginning of history, and since most dinosaur bones pre date any recorded history you have to take any opinions with a pinch of salt. From where i stand im not sure whether or not there is a GOD but do believe that humanity is, somewhat, subservient and does need someone or something to look up to, and this is where i believe a belief in God could have come from, but thats my opinion.

...the answer is that the creation was perfect from the start. Animals act the way they do out of programming. Camoflage or other devices that are distinct to particular animals that enable them to survive or catch prey etc etc have all be designed and programmed to complement each other and work within the ecosystem. The fact that we call it an ecosystem is indication that it's some sort of organized system. Mutations never organzied or improve, and never add new information to DNA.

I study molecular biology and I have to say that it would be essentially impossible to genetically create a dinosaur. theres no where that we could find intact dinosaur dna and if we did it would be difficult to repair. u couldnt just use bird or amphibian DNA (like in jurassic park) since theres no way we could know for sure what their genes are exactly like, and even if would could use frog dna or wtv it would take a very long time to figure out how to do it in a vertebrate.

To Rellikillet: Hmm, you never know. Dinosaurs survived for hundreds of millions of years before a comet wiped them out. However, though dinosaurs are perfectly adapted predators, humans have been gifted with intelligence (though all other animals are smart, too! I think humans value themselves too much, though it is true that we're smart :P) and our technology is rapidly advancing. Perhaps we'll be able to handle anything in a million years, assuming we dont go extinct before then. :P

There has been evidence of religion since the beginning of history, and since most dinosaur bones pre date any recorded history you have to take any opinions with a pinch of salt. From where i stand im not sure whether or not there is a GOD but do believe that humanity is, somewhat, subservient and does need someone or something to look up to, and this is where i believe a belief in God could have come from, but thats my opinion.

There's also no need to 'over do it' too. I'm a crhistian, and I really belives in God but I don't run around ordering people to repent themselves or they'll to to hell. Usually, I only talk about it when it comes to the conversation. But most of the time, its just flat conversation where people just camp on their beleiving. Genetics allows for a broad band of features in animals that can be highlighted with constant selective interbreeding, but it's not evolution. Evolution is transitioning from one species to another. Dogs didn't "evolve" from wolves, dear. Wolves, once tamed by humans, were selectively bred for certain characteristics: longer legs, a curled tail, a certain coat pattern, etc. Those phisiological differences are the result of the same sets of genes being turned on or off. True, there is genetic diversity among a population, but that's another point altogether.

There are many areas of actual DNA sequence changes in dogs that underlie key traits not found in wolves, such as coat length and type, snout length (duplications in some genes lead to short snouts like in bulldogs) etc. There was a recent article in Science one of the top two scientific journal that detailed how changes in relatively few genes underlie all the diversity in dog coat types.

These are just a couple examples. Dogs most certainly did EVOLVE from wolves. You are saying dog phenotypes are just different combinations of genes already present in wolves. This is NOT true. There are genome sequence changes (EVOLUTION) that underlie key doglike traits. The more we look, the more we will find, most likely.

Horses werent big or strong enough to support a person on their back once, which is why many ancient civilisations could only use them to draw chariots in war, but the biggest and strongest were bred selectively until they were strong enough to carry a rider. We have seen evolution happen a lot, whether it be in the genetic differences (tandem repeats etc) underlying different traits in dogs as compared to wolves, or evolution of bacteria, including evolution of specific proteins, on a lab bench. If you believe that the genome is an organisms blueprint, would it surprise you that closely related organisms have similar blueprints? And that given the right changes in the DNA you can turn one into another? That is called evolution.

Dr.Hau a physicist at Harvard univeristy, and many other scientist at accredited universities, discovered that light can be sped up to 300 times its current speed or slowed down to 32 miles or less per second. Look into it please. Anyway i wont explain the experiments but note that if light can move faster than we think, the cuts the distances down from here to stars. When you say light years, infact you're talking distances, and time changes if the speed of light is not a constant.

...the answer is that the creation was perfect from the start. Animals act the way they do out of programming. Camoflage or other devices that are distinct to particular animals that enable them to survive or catch prey etc etc have all be designed and programmed to complement each other and work within the ecosystem. The fact that we call it an ecosystem is indication that it's some sort of organized system. Mutations never organzied or improve, and never add new information to DNA.

I study molecular biology and I have to say that it would be essentially impossible to genetically create a dinosaur. theres no where that we could find intact dinosaur dna and if we did it would be difficult to repair. u couldnt just use bird or amphibian DNA (like in jurassic park) since theres no way we could know for sure what their genes are exactly like, and even if would could use frog dna or wtv it would take a very long time to figure out how to do it in a vertebrate.

To Rellikillet: Hmm, you never know. Dinosaurs survived for hundreds of millions of years before a comet wiped them out. However, though dinosaurs are perfectly adapted predators, humans have been gifted with intelligence (though all other animals are smart, too! I think humans value themselves too much, though it is true that we're smart :P) and our technology is rapidly advancing. Perhaps we'll be able to handle anything in a million years, assuming we dont go extinct before then. :P
