I really wish we could find out what that was exactly, as at the end of the series we are told that both Variable Dynamics and Rekall found something on Mars that allowed for a Human/Android hybrid

Amazing SCI-FI show about future - great mix of Total Recall, Blade Runner, Strange Days and TekWar. Michael Easton, Judith Krant did a great job.
Total Recall 2070 was unique but extremely underrated TV show (just like TakWar, Spy Game, Robocop (1994), Mortal Kombat Conquest in due time).
