This is so great to see you enjoying!! My Grandpa Harry Chamberlin was the inventor and it's so wonderful to see they are still around and work!! I remember as a kid dancing around while my Grandpa played! Enjoy it! Thanks so much for sharing!

Ebay. From USA. It was quite expensive, specially with the 25 % custom charges on top of everything.

Is this the first Chamberlin to enter Norway?

I bought a Chamberlin Rhythmate about 5 years ago - but yes, i think this is the first M1 to enter Norway.

Indeed the Chamberlin sounds a bit more across the board fidelity-wise than the Mellotron....hard to describe, but I'm sure I can tell the difference if I was blindfolded with the two instruments before me reproducing the same instruments. Of course I'd tell them apart from the sound of the tape retraction mechanism...

You won't freeze in your apartment this winter if you have to wait to play it fifteen minutes everytime you wanted to play it..!

Enormt rått!! Syns faktisk det låt veldig mye finere enn mellotron (skulle ikke tru det gikk ann), ihvertfall utifra hva man kan bedømme gjennom en Youtube video.

Ja den låter fantastisk bra - men videoen har jo ganske dårlig lydkvalitet, så man får ikke hørt den fyldige lyden jeg babler om. Hvorfor den ikke ble mer populær i sin tid er jo mildt sagt merkelig..

Ja det er demo-vokal Andreas spilte inn på laptop'en sin (så kvaliteten blir enda bedre til slutt). Han er jo pokker så dyktig da!
