The DREAM Act misses the entire point of being an ILLEGAL ALIEN. Illegal does not mean "if you can avoid being deported for five or more years", it means YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I would like to introduce my own DREAM ACT. I DREAM politicians will begin to stand up for legal, tax-paying, middle class citizens who follow the laws. Deport law breakers and their anchor babies. Stop subsidizing criminal behaviour.

I worked with an immigration lawyer and I know very well that the immigration system is broken. These people come here and risk their lives. If there was a right way for them to come here legally, trust me that they would of taken that alternative. Reality is we have these kids who were brought against their will and who only know America as their only home. Dream Act pass!! Call your Rep. It's the most reasonable and humanitarian approach.

Some just finding out that they are illegal. They shed tears as they find there is no way for their naturalization to occur..They cannot picture returning to their native country which is foreign to them. Meaning, at the time when their parents decided to cross the border illegally, they had NO CHOICE. They did not know what was going on...This is where they grew. This is the culture they know. If a 40 year old man crosses our border intentionally they are just as illegal as the 4 year girl old that crosses our border accidentally. Presence on this side of the border in relationship to where the individual belongs is sufficient to to justify the term illegal if the person "immigrates" illegally. The semantic argument invoking "children" is a sematic ploy.

The dream act only applies to people who have been in the US for 5 consecutive years BEFORE the bill has passed. Definitely not "enticing" people to come illegally. DISLIKE
