@dunskie All you gotta do is divide the pitch by the amount that the track was sped up. For example if they doubled the speed of the track the pitch would normally double right along with it. Simply cut the pitch by half and voila.
I totaly disagree with superlive98. This version is great and doesn't undermine the songs meaning at all. I think you're reading a little to much into what is essentialy simply a very pretty love song (and like most musicians I hate 99.9% of love songs), and to call this effort "BULLSHIT" seems a little over the top.
I like it and have just downloaded this and their re-mix of "Coming Up" for future viewing.
:-) I should have made it clear in my previous post that this is one of those 0.01% of love songs I like.
It's got a wonderfull lyric, a very "male" love song and all the better for it. Paul's vocals are brilliant, possibly his best ever.
It's a shame that PM's mostly remembered by younger people for stuff like "We All Stand Together" (which taken for what it is, a kid's song from a kid's movie, is itself lovely), "Live and Let Die" and "Mull of Kintyre", when he can manage so much more...
Twin Freaks was vinyl only release, my cd source like alot that are out there are indeed copys of the vinyl.
As a norm I will post all my audio soucres at the best possible playback, highest bit & low compression rate. Unfortunately ATM this was the best I had. It's possible I might get around to it and update it later.
Can you tell me how you post your stuff with low compression rates and all that? I use "AnyVideoConverter" to get stereo, but I don't know how you do the compression bit. Thanks!
the drumming is lifted from Too Many People. Only just realised.

Thanks BillyATwat23 & superlive98,
You express that better than I.
The original track for those whom really listen to the heart of what the track means will understand, it's beautiful.
Twin Freaks mix is a groove, a completely different approach to a very cool song. It's for fun content and a celebration McCartney's
work pass the 60's, 70's & 80's catalogue. Listeners will understand the original version
and fans will search for content that moves them in a different direction as Twin Freaks.

I think you've got it backwards about musicians and love songs.
To me, there's nothing better than a great love song.
That's why there's so many great ones.
