Just to make that clear =) Greetings from a norwegian citizen =)

  • HATA HATA HATA NORGE >:)

  • HATER HATER HATER SVEIRGE! :)

  • Honestly! Do a bit of general knowledge investigation, and borrow a 1000 kr.-lapp(176,52$ note) from your parents.

  • What was on them wasn't really the point of the video, so I didn't bother. ^ ^

And as for borrowing a 1000 kr note (which was closer to 160 at the time of filming), it would be quite difficult seeing as I don't live with my parents. Moved out a few years back.

  • @dannisjc is american money less or more in Norway?

  • Very nice currency you have.

I find it very interesting that you have different color ink on each note, plus you have more women than we do here in the United States (all of our bills have men).

  • Thanks for sharing. That was awesome!

  • The short answer is that the people don't want to. We've voted twice. In the 70s and in 94, I think. We don't want to lose so much of our sovereignty to an overnanational organisation. Of course, we're members of trading organisation, which means we have to follow their decisions and have the correct kind of market economy. The way I see it, we now have basically no influence, and if we join we might get at least a bit in form of suggesting policies etc.

  • All the countries around norway are part of the EU... why not Norway?

And isn't the plural of "kronor" "Krona"? It is in Swedish anyway.

Tack! (Does that make sense in Norwegian?)

  • The basic word is (1) krone - 2 kroner in Norwegian. (1 krona - 2 kronor in Swedish).

"Tack" makes sense as "takk" as in "thank you". ^ ^

  • @maxiewawa

Norway makes billions upon billions of euroes each year by not joining. Norway actually benefits from being outside of the EU. This is something the Norwegians tends to use, and the neighbouring countries exploit this as well by going there to work and make a lot of money to bring home to their own countries. Win-win. Norwegian people actually turned down what lots of countries should have turned down but they didn't.

    Cheers, Norway. Från en svensk.
