@zanepx90 Sorry no, we sold them all, however we have more babies for sale now just drop me a line at abradbury251@gmail or better still call me on 0410 911 856 to secure an Alexandrine for yourself
I have a question . I want to know that how can we know that this is male alexandrine parrot and this is female because the neck ring takes a year to become visible. I want to know about this because i bought one and he/she is only 2 weeks old . I asked the salesman to give me male he assured me that it is male but i m not still satisfied . I want male not female . Plz Plz Plz reply me must.
@wisewisdom2 the salesman was most likely lying unless he had them dna blood tested, that's the only way to really know the difference between the male and females until they are 12-36 months when the males get their ring
@wisewisdom2@wisewisdom2 Thanks for your question. This is a great question so i am going to take my time to answer it carefully because many people ask the same question. Also I will address the salesman part as well.
@wisewisdom2 First of all you said "I want to know that how can we know that this is male alexandrine parrot and this is female because the neck ring takes a year to become visible"
We have all of our birds DNA tested. Every Alexandrine we sell comes with their own DNA certificate and their ring number which is permanently fixed on their leg. DNA and surgical sexing are proven methods of finding out what the sex of the bird is at an early age.
@wisewisdom2 If a salesperson cannot produce a DNA certificate for a baby Alexandrine. then I suggest you find a salesperson who will.
Also it is frowned upon and illegal to sell a baby Parrot who is not self sufficient to eat on it's own under 8 weeks of age. If you want a male Alexandrine and you live in Australia I suggest you get one from us email me at abradbury251@gmail.com
@kurtlazarus "dream on 450 for a female lol" Thanks for your comment, Let me ask you a question? How much do you think a healthy tame female Alexandrine is worth?
Thanks for your support John You know a quality Alexandrine when you see one!! I have just watched you video "Talking Parrot Inquiry" with Louis he's great can I put that video on my blog at alexandrineshandraised please?
