Where can i find part 2 of this smooth jazz chord lesson?

  • this is awesome, thank you for these lessons you are very versed in theory, i cant imagine ever knowing that much

  • Hi Andrew

When you're playing those chords at the beginning do you use your pinky on your picking hand? I trying to find a way to combine regular picking with finger style

  • @Sivaks9 ... I use the pinky finger of my plucking/strumming hand for playing chords, quite a lot. But, I only "rarely" use it when it comes to playing Hybrid style single-note lines. Hope this answer's your question somewhat. Take care.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Andrew you have helped me over "musical plateaus" multiple times. Thank you for contributions to the guitar players around the world.

  • You know I've never been in to jazz but this vid really got me interested and kicking around some 7th chords. Thats all you ask for in teaching, getting students interested and doing things they couldn't or didn't do before. Thanks Andrew.

  • Another fantastic lesson the chord diagrams really help.

  • Great playing Andrew!! I'm loving the chords.

  • This pickup is for the GR-20 Roland Synth. It s called GK-3.
