  • This isn't Antones in Texas it is being played in Toronto Canada

  • @imactheknife el macambo

  • it truely is a touching story it makes me cry

  • have you seen how high the action is on the guitar at the end????????????????

  • divorce?? i have never heard about that

  • why is she even around on lots of these things.. he divorced her..i guess its still her namesake..

  • not that it matters but is this guy in r+r hof yet? if not, why?

  • 2:42 OMG. Look at the high action! He indeed had strong hands.

  • Yeah haha that's sick!

  • @sirgerry you're right. I never really took note of how high off the fret his strings were. I have a hard time getting clean barre chord transitions on high action guitars.

  • Beautiful

  • making custom shop strats like this of SRV is really really disappointing. I mean the number one replica is a joke. Now they''ve replicated LENNY....so sad. If you wanna replicate a guitar....you should do it yourself, Not make limited numbers and sell em for 1.5+ grand. These guitars are frozen in history and should remain that way.

  • It's not a replica

  • 1.5 grand,I wish haha these babies go for 18.yes 18.18 thousand fucking dollars.

  • the lenny remake is GRRRRREEEAT!

  • If u wanna' do it yourself then go ahead, but There is alot of work that goes into one of these and it is as close to the original as anyone can get. When your Idol is SRV, then you dont mind paying the money if you have it. Personally I am building my own. Its just a way I can show my love for SRV. Having a guitar like this helps keep his music alive too. when people see a guitar like this, they ask questions, and it spreads SRV music to new people who are new to music and havent heard of SRV.

  • If SRV is your idol, then you of all people should know that SRV poured his heart n soul into his music. You want a guitar that took years of playing to get a certain look, then pour your heart soul into making it that way it truely is YOURS. Same thing with lenny or any other famous musician guitar. Buying it takes the fun out of everything. I wouldnt shell out 1.5 grand for this. For an amp, ya. For this, no. I'd rather much do it myself, So that I could honor srv, and not the other way around

  • @nebulae87

if Stevie's your favourite guitarist, and you have saved up the cash, why shouldn't you be free to have a guitar just like his? You are a prize douchebag sir.

  • @Carthsgtr wow.....really? You're asking a question thats already answered in what i said dude. Its people like you who pay somebody to replace a lightbulb in your home. If you dont know what that means, then dont even bother replying. I dont know even know why i bothered replying to this in the first place.

  • i wish i could find a vintage like that for 350$ u gotta suck some balls to get a price like that these days

  • she probably bought it like 30 years ago when $350 was big money for a used strat..

  • yea, 30 years ago a vintage strat was next to nothing. today man, they are 1000s of bucks. wtf happened.

  • same with les paul's

  • Thanks Lenny for loving the good things.

  • The neck that is on Lenny (According to several sources) was given to Stevie by Billy Gibbons from ZZtop, along with "Main" the Hamilton Strat with the neck-through-body and STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN engraved and inlaid down the fretboard.

  • That double trouble drummer is the drummer in a band called "storyville" ..which david grissom was the lead guitarist in. David grissom is awesome, i bid any of you go check him out.

  • What happenned to Arc Angels?

Is Tommy Shannon still with them?

  • ARC Angels didn't last very long. They only did the one album, but broke up because of the hype and the fact that Doyle Bramhall II at the time had a drug problem.

After that, Chris and Tommy formed Storyville. That too didn't last very long, only doing one album (I think). That was around 96, I think.

Since then, Tommy and Chris have played with many people, including Debbie Davies, and there's a Double Trouble album, with various people playing on different cuts.

  • those lucky guys, they got to work with the real,Lenny strat, the real thing...

  • Wow, great video.. you never, ever, ever hear about, let alone actually see Lenora Vaughan!

  • Thanks for sharing this! That's awesome!

  • It was routed for a humbucker? Interesting.

  • What's the name of the track at the end? I NEED IT.

  • Its called Riviera Paradise

  • Thanks

  • RIP stevie

  • yeah dude nice video

  • yeah dude nice video

  • Rest in peace,master!

    RIP

  • It is kind of twisted that Fender are selling a replica of a $350 (7x$50) guitar for something like $17,000.

  • That is like a 64 strat so today id would be worth even more. You can't replicate a vintage strat but i bet they do a good job.

  • Its a shame that so few people have watched this video.

  • its because he spelled vaughan wrong in the tag. You would be suprised to see how many good videos are over looked because of bad tags or wrong spelling.

  • He spelled it right...

  • He fixed it after I told him. It was spelled "Vaughn". That comment was nine months ago

  • Lol so? haha.

  • RIP

    SRV

  • nice post on a sick project (to my taste). with Clapton in the chopper I guess we'd be looking at $25k Blackie replicas today. RIP Stevie.

  • really great.
