By the way, the gear shifter on the side is meant to be only up and down. It's called a sequential gearbox.

I think you are right xmattiegeex. The only difference between g27 is gears and pedals. And I like the way you say 'i don't give a shit' about the padle shifter. You are right. Who gives a shit. They do the job of going up and down a gear. So thanks a lot about the review. It helped me a lot. :D

@Shqiptarivertet It shouldn't work without the power cable. There's three cables one for peddles, one for the power and the USB.

First off; Thanks for the reply. Yep, it spins back and forth when you start it, but like when you use it on a track and have the adapter plugged in, It's unbelievable hard to steer the wheel. But when you take it off the wheel (the adapter that connects to the electrisity), then It's pretty easy to steer. If you know what I mean? Haven't gotten any update message so far, as I got the wheel yesterday, so I believe it's updated pretty much. Nice video btw.

@Shqiptarivertet Well you need the power adaptor for the actual steering to work. If you're using this for Gran Turismo 5 you can go to the settings and turn down the feedback to a lower setting that will make it easier for you to steer. Try looking on your PS3 for an update. Now if you're using it for the PC you need to use the CD software that came with it.

Hey m8. I got this too and was just wondering if it works like normal or not? Mine just starts swinging by itself right when you go into a race. Annoying and can't know for sure what the problem is.

@Shqiptarivertet You mean it turns back and forth? Or it literally spins one direction nonstop? If it goes back and forth that's normal that's called the feedback feature it simulates realistic handling. The problem could be that you need to upgrade your firmware on the steering wheel it asks you on the PlayStation when you plug it in.
