Very cool. I've yet to get comfortable enough with the system to be able to use it very well by hand, but I do love the ABC files and I am currently trying to learn how to note it all down. So I can create some of my own files.

I used to play alot by hand and not the abc files. You can hook up a MIDI keyboard and use the addon in thie music system forums to let it play.

you can do both, you can play real time, and you can write down the notes in microsoft notepad and sav it in the game folder.

Awesome skills. This is the ultimate MMORPG right now. It looks great, too bad I won't be able to play it (not at full settings anyway).

I thought my new computer was good that I bought for £230 but this game would just melt it. Does anyone know of a website that you can check if your computer is good enough to run it? I've tried systemrequirementlab but they don't have lord of the rings online on the game list.

Thanks for your comment.However, I have to say that if you played the game, you would understand the difference between macroed (ABC) music and live music. You can tell quite easily as Macroed music displays as hollow notes whereas live keystrokes show as solid notes.

If you are going to give me some crap, at least make it educated crap..

For the other people that asked, I use a program called Midi2Key and mapped 3 octaves of my keyboard to it.

a note is hollow when it is a minin (2 beats long) and its filled in when its a crotchet (1 beat long) you tell when note it is by where abouts it is on the stave, what the note looks like determins the length of the note.

You can tell it is not ABC because the notes graphics are 'solid'

ABC notes look hollow, you would be able to see the wall through them.
