How do I stop PICTURES I've 'LIKED' showing up in the NEWSFEED??? It seems that every Tom, Dick and Harry (in my friendslist) can see who's picture I've 'liked'!!! ;0(

I found this out by being in the same room as my dad while he was on his Fb and I was on mine using my phone! I liked someones picture and about 20 seconds later the picture I 'Liked' was showing up in his news feed!

I hate the new settings, my profile is set to hide who's wall i write on and what i comment on/like. But it defeats the purpose, all they have to do is add me to their "close friends" list and there it would be as public as a truck stop. I can remove it from my profile but i can't seem to find a way to remove it from the close friends list.

I had a list of people who couldn't see my relationship status, tht list has been up since the beginning of summer, nd i had no problem with the list, because they couldn't see it nd i checked using the preview my profile button. Then dey FUCKING change, and now everyone can see it, no matter if they're on my fucking blocked list or what. nd get this, legal proof, they fucked up: "Facebook never reveals when you choose not to share a post with somebody." <-i copied/pasted tht

But when you hide your friends list, no one will see who your contacts are. I just want to hide the recent activity when I have just added a friend, without closing my wall altogether. Is that not possible? I am fine with other friends browsing through my list of contacts, but I just don't want to alert anyone when I am adding people.

Thank you so much ! I have been searching for this for like 2 hours. Every forum told that if you hide like and friending activity from you wall, none of your friends will see it. And, that's absolutely false.
