that butthurt because he's an actual friend. he has a life, and a great one at that. thanks potts ;) you rock. you on the other hand, who apparently had nothing better to do, other than bash on somone for winning, could have perhaps used your opinion as motivation to win the next contest.. without any disrespectful comments to people. i'm not an expert on the Gracie way, but i'm pretty sure Master Helio would have had some rules on respecting others and being rude...

it wasnt based on the content of the picture. it was based on how many friends/votes that picture got and with 250+ votes, something tells me it doesnt suck. that and he was sporting a 1 of 12 only made gold necklace by the Gracie Academy. so, yeah, to you it may have sucked, but that where that sentiment ends my friend.

im not asking for your amazement, nor am i asking you to find his picture breathtaking, i am just asking you give respect where respect is due. again, the pictures were not in a competition where is was to see the best picture, just to see how many votes they could get on said picture.

The contest was to put up a picture and see who got the most votes. Votes are generally used to measure popularity.

I don't see where any respect is warranted. It's not a very good picture. Even I could have probably come up with a better one had I given it some thought and had a decent camera and some Gracie gear. So again, where is the respect due?
