They helped me get back in to shape after my first 2 kids. I know some of those videos by heart, lol. Anyway, thank you for your sharing your knowledge and experience with us. I hope to get back on track with my weight and life soon. Thanks again! :D
What if ALL of those things trigger my eating? lol I'll have to try the chewing gum thing and I wish I could go out for a run whenever I have that urge to eat needlessly. I have 4 children all 6 years and younger. It's hard to find time away. One of these days, when I can afford it I'll have to get me a gym pass again. I love the gym and the time I get to myself. Well, I just wanted to say thank you for your Turbo Jam videos..........
You are so right when it comes to triggers... I am an emotional eater along with the binge part. I decided to post some videos soon to my site regarding my issues. I think this might help me gain control/ maintain control. over a life time I have lost hundreds of pounds. I have also gained. I am very aware of my triggers... This was great.
Definitely can relate to this message. Thanks for making this video Chalene and for addressing something that I sometimes forget. I have some serious issues with emotional eating and then not eating at all. You and one of your awesome coaches are helping me get back on track. Eating every few hours and not mindless eating when I am emotional, is ON MY TO DO LIST!!! :) Thanks On twitter I am @smilegypsee going to go follow you right now :) THANK YOU AGAIN!
I know I eat food when I'm depressed and when I can't find anything else to distract myself with. It's terrible. Also when my mother tells me that I shouldn't eat because it will make me gain weight I eat because I get mad and depressed. Those are the only times. I feel very guilty after that. The only time I don't eat is when I go out but sometimes I can't.
I eat to unwind and bcs I am used to being rewarded with food after accomplishments (school mostly, by my parents)...I never eat when I am angry or sad...but I hate the reasons anyway when I eat without being hungry.
This guy, boogiedown550, is WAY better and talking about and explaining emotional eating, and he's not trying to hock any of his shit.
Empathy is great and all, but unless you've lived morbid obesity and living on the brink of death, you have no clue what it's like.
