  • My Favourite Stones song of all time

  • Adam Levine doesn't move like Jagger. Mick dances better than him.

  • One of the most INFECTIOUS Stones tunes EVER! And that from this long time 50 year old Stones fan. Keep Rockin' Boys! Mattie

  • great song.

  • older bands had talent to spare..Mick can play any instrument on stage and Keith has awesome pipes. the rest of the band could fill in at any position required.

  • You're not the only one...

  • i made a song called mixed emotions but it sounds nothin like this

  • The Stones hit #5 in Billboard, 10-14-89. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great weekend!

  • There was some controversy that the song was called "Mixed Emotions" to sound very similar to "Mick's Demotion" since Richards and Jagger had a feud a few years earlier, but Richards has denied this. - Wiki.

  • @morval99

    also, "Mick's emotions" lolz.

  • pero que garra !,hay que tomarse unos whiskachos y darle con todo y alguna substancia mas para cantar asi y moverse no?

  • Cool! But what possessed Mick to say to the video director, "hey! come and film me in my aerobics gear! That'll look GREAT in the video!"? (keith in background sighing, "whatever floats your boat, man", for the billionth time)

  • Let's Rock and Roll Yeah!

  • Ugliest band in R 'n R, but boy, can these geezers ROCK!

  • @rtmirt46 Nah, Brian is really the only ugly one. Mick Jagger is hot!

  • Yes, they were having a fight. Mick wanted to sing on his on for a while, Keith got mad. No one wanted to see Mick singing alone. Oh Mick, LEARN TO COOPERATE!!!

  • This is the kind of song you can actually exercise or do aerobics to, about time! About time to have some good music out there!!!!

  • They play well for stoned guys in their 60s

  • great song

  • Best song by the Stones.

  • I agree with you PJSkins26

  • is this the last stones video with bill?

  • great song

  • It all works. It's all real.

  • not one song is ever released without charlie watts putting the final dot on it......freak

  • how in the fuck can you dislike this...beats the shit outta me....

  • @sacHac5i You can't.

  • They can wear the gayest clothing and still look bad ass!

  • No doubt the Stones are the greatest living legend of Rock. And they deserve it !

  • Eu adoro este disco dos Stones, foi ele que me ligou nesse negócio de Rock & Roll. MIxed Emotions é uma grande música

  • Awesome song. I can't help but get up and dance when I hear this.

  • This is pure rock!amazing riffs! great melody! because of Keith Richards I love telecasters so much

  • i chose to play rolling stones mix by youtube, and every single song has a top rated comment about justin bieber or lady gaga... how lame you people are? if you really cared about good music, you would just listen to this song and not care about others, but you obviously have some personal problems (or you're only kid in the class that doesn't like bieber) so you have to make up for them on youtube... let everybody listen what they like, some have better taste, some worse, its all music though

  • @NTwisp13 I agree... But do you know who Rebecca Black is? Her career is a joke... It's gotten so bad that we have to make fun of a 13 year old girl via youtube who can't sing and the girls in her video can't dance.

  • @AprilONeil182 can you sing or dance? Is your career a joke? You don't even have it...

  • @NTwisp13

    Yess, you're right !

    Diferent people and diferent taste.

I love Jagger very much !

  • @NTwisp13 kind of ironic that even this song has an top rated comment which mentions bieber and gaga :P

    but man, you are right!

  • @LMilleniumT Hah yes, pretty ironic... thanks

  • @NTwisp13 I'm with you

  • @NTwisp13 I think the real tragedy is hat Bieber is manufactured music. It has nothing to do with art, it has everything to do with lining people's pockets with money least of which is probably Bieber himself. I think people's commentary about Bieber/Gaga is just simply that we are fed up with mediocrity in society in general but for it to reach music to us music lovers is like the ultimate end...And then we listen to tunes like these and lament the past and we just can't let it go...

  • Charlie Watts is awesome!!!

  • YOU GET TO EMOTION"" .. YOU FIND OUT YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE__ SKIP,,,

  • THE FUCKING KINGS!!! FUCKING KINGS!!! Down in South America young people still like this a lot more than in the US, where young people mostly listen to whatever is being commercialized at the moment,,, and damn have I had some good times dancing to the Stones down in S America,, getting drunk and everybody jumping around to this shit,,, fucking euphoria!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Saffiros Fucking Kings! No doubt about that Saffiros. And Greetings from India!

  • @Saffiros You're right, I'm from South America and here young people love them, you can search some videos played in Brazil and Argentina and see the diferent reaction from our crowd when The Rolling Stones come here, I'll never forget crazy night in Buenos Aires 2006 under the rain...

  • BAD ASS GROUP!

  • omg, I totally agree with almost everyone. The Stones are AWESOME!

  • hey Poolerirish, I'm sort of with ya. I hate the music my fellow high school graduates listen to, they're all into rap and hip hop, sorry but this stuff pushes other music out. The Rolling Stones totally kick butt in the world of rock

  • @MsJagger19 aint that the truth

  • dude im so pissed i didnt get to grow up with this shit, like im 16 and the rolling stones, the doors, the clash and the velvet underground are my favorite bands of all time, i fucking hate the rest of the shit my friends listen to

  • There really was something special when Bill was on the bass....

  • @TheYerelda Too right. They took the piss out of him mercilessly, but missed him when he was gone ...

  • the rolling stones loved black people.....they employed african americans on stage in the studio and they also introduced the world the hard rock all black group livin color.....the stones are cooler then cool

  • Your not the only one!!!!!

  • Kids today just dont know good music like this!

  • I totally agree with PJSkins26. This is the real deal rock n roll music, man. I am sorry to opine that young people of today are being brought up on ridiculous and totally passable hip hop, rap and trance culture and have no idea of what the real music is all 'bout. Long live rock n roll.

  • Occupational therapy for a pair of "lovers" who'd been estranged for the past seven years. Proof that mature tolerance for ambiguity and irreconcilable differences can lead to truly great things.

  • this the best stones song

  • 22 people have a crease in their butt

  • @OrigLanceR Possibly the best line on youtube...........nice work!

  • @OrigLanceR

    it's up to 25 now...lol

  • I LOVE this tune!! I was in High school when it came out!! I saw the STONES 5 times in 1989!!

  • @Keithaholic1 I was in primary school when I first heard this in 1989 but luckily Ive always had taste and did not buy into crappy rap, hip hop or pop shit.

  • Sorry, I won't go see the lads without Bill Wyman, but I was at this tour everynight In Shea stadium!

  • This is one of my favorite vocal performances by Mick. His emotions are particularly palpable, even more so then usual.

  • This is just awsome like all of their stuff. These guys are the real deal.

  • This is one of the great underrated Stones songs! They should have played it in the Scorsese documentary Shine A Light!

  • great song

  • Que vivan las drogas y los stones

  • Comment removed

  • The fucking bigger band!!!

  • I wanna know who's praying for Keith Richards, with all of the things that's happened to him he should have been dead. I want a prayer warrior like that.

  • @oceans20113 you must have never seen any of their live stuff. Mick can play guitar, I promise.

  • @jkgjeb I agree. But here's a fun fact: They wanted Charlie to be their drummer really bad. That had to buy him from another band.

  • Mick and Keith get almost all of the attention and credit, but man, Charlie Watts is an amazing drummer!

  • @jkgjeb Yep, and Bill Wyman is one of the greatest bass player ever!

  • @jkgjeb I'm convinced he's the reason they are still together

  • @jkgjeb What's even more amazing is the full sound he can get with that minimalistic drum set. Look at Phil Collins set....it's damn fort. PC is a great drummer, but Watts just needs this basic little setup.

  • @jkgjeb yes, good ole charlie one watt..steady and good back beat

  • @jkgjeb Yes indeed! Charlie Watts is playin them skins! Amazing how active they are with their old selves! I should know! LOL I was a fan back in the 60's! This song though, "Mixed Emotions" is one, if not my favorite cut by the Rolling Stones.

  • I want to see Mick really play a guitar that is actually plugged in to an amplifier...

    I don't buy it here .......

    LOL

  • @oceans20113 too bad mick is dead and that is Ronnie Wood

  • awsome song

  • great song

  • Not as pretty as the Beatles were, not as smooth as the Beach Boys, not as dynamic as The Who, or intricate as Led Zep,..yet, having seen all these groups, I can tell you first hand that The Stones were in a class by themselves. Not sure how they are on stage these days since it has been years since I saw them.

  • catchy tune

  • @boxpine69 i agree

  • Simon cowells cattle try their best but Mick and the lads will triumph over manufactured fodder for many more years to come. Stones Forever!

  • Mick and Keith: two great pals. I really like the angle, the lighting, and the matching colors in Mick's lips and his shirt at :13 when he sings "Button your lips, baby." I wonder what film stock was used for this video. Really great editing. Jagger as Jumpin' Jack playing ping pong is an interesting concept. Great lines about "the crease in your butt" and "by the scruff of the neck." This is an awesome video to watch if you are feeling down, and need something to pick you up.

  • i like charlie....i love the deadpan expression!...always makes me chuckle...

  • Gotta love Ron Wood, just kinda hanging back and chillin', always a cool cat.

  • today's music is plastic ... the rolling stones are characterfull

  • @reflixtinian i agree

  • Right on PJSkins26!! The music of today is nothing like it was in the 80's and 90's. The Stones will always live on with their great music history!!

  • IS THAT FUCKIN JIMMY DUNLAP!!??

  • These guys define rock and roll. Rock and roll is in their DNA.

Saw them in concert...well worth the $400 for two tickets.

  • NICKELBACK FOR 2011!!!! REAL MUSIC!!!

  • Right on Maxblu53...no one can beat the Stones...There is ONLY one Keith Richards...he shines on stage..commanding figure on stage...Best band ever.

  • Great interaction between Mick and Keith. Mick always wants the attention.

  • @mickbrian1231 I'll give him all he can handle. :)

  • Greatest rock and roll band in the world!

  • The best band ever

  • 1989 and they were already OLD, how can they still make a last tour next year?? ...I will go anyway...

  • @cynthiasadie It's easy when all their instruments are plugged into the clapper.

  • God I love the Stones!!!! They can do it ALL....with greatness!!! The epitome of Rock & Roll "cool"....they keep it! Their Lovin' Cup so full full full!!!! being, always, soft as they are hard, STILL never loose merit in R &R's "Cool" TY for video!

  • Charlie looks kinda creepy in this. still an underated song

  • This is real music, by a real band, and with real talent. Something Lady Gaga, or Bieber will never come close to tasting. I feel bad for people 15-20 years younger than me having to suffer with the abortions of so called "new music" that is on the radio today.

  • @PJSkins26 you should feel bad for us, it sucks

  • @PJSkins26 Don't say all new music is bad. there is a whole new army of great rockers coming out of England these days, inspired by these guys, and bands like The Jam,Pulp, Oasis. Check out The Rifles, Los Campesinos, Mumford and Sons, and many others of their ilk. Even we have some decent musicians in the States, listen to The Decemberists and King Khan. There are a lot of good bands in the alt-country/folk genres that years ago would've sounded perfect with the Stones. Don't give up yet!

  • @eddybaby58 Oh, and buy vinyl. The experience cannot be beaten.

  • @eddybaby58

    Vinyl for the win.

  • @PJSkins26 agreed...except that i'm 20 hahah...i love real rock and roll like the stones and ccr and any other band from the 60's and 70's...true music

  • @PJSkins26 Totally agree with you, Actually Im only 18 and have loved them since I was 15. I prefer the music from the 60s and 50s rather from the utter crap music of today. :)

  • @PJSkins26 I`m 28 and been a Stones (especially Keef) fan since I was 15. ;)

  • @PJSkins26 I'm 16 and I love music most music apart from today's music.

  • @PJSkins26

Don't worry we can still listen to this:)

  • @PJSkins26 and thats why I listen to this stuff and use it my vids

  • @PJSkins26

sounds like any other dude feeling entitled by his taste in music taste to rant on others, why the fuck do you even care in the first place what others listen to, huh ? listening to rolling stones does not make you a better person then some1 listening to what you would claim to be bad music, its fucking childish

  • @Nabolzi You are a retard and here's why. Do you see most modern day musicians write there own songs or play there own instruments? No because most of these singers are studio made. The record companies tell the singer what to say and what to do it without any freedom. Then most of them get eventually thrown to the curb Did you ever see that with artist like The Beatles, Stones, The Who, Springsteen, Dylan etc.? No because they made there own music without record company dictatorship.

  • @PJSkins26

Stil WHY THE FUCK DO YOU CARE?

  • one of my favorites

  • that outift micks wearing at :56 is inexcusable

  • @annachestnut--yeah tell me about it! I was a junior in high school when this was on the radio/MTV. Went right and bought the album. wow, it doesn't seem like that long ago.....hahaha

  • i just got the 40th annivesary remaster of get yer ya ya's out great cd it's great.

  • ONE OF THEIR´S BEST of the late cureer.

  • Mick Jagger reminds me of a rooster on crack. LOL. But really though, the stones kick ass

  • golden earring coms near working just as long.

  • The return of the Best Stones.

Charly Watts if you died. Died the Stones

  • stones forever

  • rocking seniors ...... still a hell of a band rocking

  • omg, love love love this!!

  • fuck yeah long live the ROLLING STONES.

  • cool video.

  • Best rock and roll band IN THE WORLD.

  • Video is shot when they rehearsed for the 'Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle' tour I think.

  • @SilverTounge85 no this is the start of steel wheels shot in mossarat rehearal to that tour where steel wheels was wrote that album was done in like 6 weeks amazing .

  • guys and girls bros and sisters heard the stones are splitting up about 4 hours ago and have seen reasonable proof online i am devastated ive grown up with them through the good times and the bad what a shame

  • @84BIGDAN if thats the case why did jagger just say they will go on tour in 2011 ron also said the stones will rock to they drop a quote i dont think you have seen the last of the stones if that was the case the press had the stones retire after steel wheels dont belive any bs they say like mick said in 40 licks tour the daily news said this is the last time the stones will play the garden micks reply i dont think so and he was right bigger bang to prove them wrong.

  • I was in High School when this classic came out!!

  • My own being! Enough said!

  • Maxblu53 - you couldn't have said it any better....nobody even comes close.......

  • Too cool

  • after all the fighting was over the greatest return and to this day no one can match what these guys have done stones rule
