@CascadeSoldier You don't think Jake Shields has a chance of submitting the guy? I think if Jake gets a dominate position, on what I assume to be a wrestler with little BJJ experience, he has a really good chance of submitting him. My experience with grappling is that wrestlers freak out when they are on bottom and often expose themselves to hooks, where I can get some submission work going. Thoughts? Btw don't call it "wresting fucking" thats just ignorance, Jake is a genius on the ground

Wrestle fuck doesn't necessarily have to be taken into account as derogatory. Did you not hear what I had to say for the rest of it? Most people on here know, Jake Shields is my dude and one of my favorites, and I respect his skill set. Don't call it ignorance, for the most part it's what happens when he wins. He wrestles you, maintains top control, and goes for low risk submissions, which results in the opponent being 'fucked' because they aren't left with much to do offensively.

Ellenberger is good enough to stay out of subs in my opinion and Jake will have a tough time keeping him down I think since he really hasn't done that to anyone professionally since Kampmann, and that shit's almost a year ago. So he'll look rusty trying to, and Ellenberger is a handful at 170. I'm just giving Ellenberger credit man, I think he's the real deal, and maybe in a few years he is top 5, but I think Jake is too relentless at 170 still if in shape against anyone but GSP.

Giving this a thumbs up but i got ellenberger with the upset due to his cardio and aggressiveness. I just watched the '09 fight between condit and him and god damn ellenberger has a full tank of gas and surprisingly good striking as he got the better of that area by far. ( condit won by split decision due too even better cardio and slick sweeps)

Yea I'm pretty giddy about ellenbergers career right now. Anyways always enjoy the picks man.
